This is a serial of works which deal with art market in Serbia. Art commissions are part of illegal, black market since there’s no settled art market. Art collectioners buy art works on black market since it’s cheaper than in galleries, avoiding taxes and art galleries sell art works avoiding to pay taxes, directly to the buyer, acting as dealers on black market. On that way artist are equalized as street sellers. “Tezga” is a Turkish word for trading desk or branch made out of wood, also it’s a term for second job, or art for money. On streets of Belgrade I pictured wild trading desks, cardboard desks with different colorful goods.Out of these images which shows illegal market, I made a video. Also, along with it, I showed interview with art collectioners Trajkovic who described how the art market functions. I made a souvenir shop out of the selected works>eco bags, t/shirts, posters and I arranged a performance of illegal art market.
